Executive Director
ECEA advocates on a systems level with the Office of Early Childhood, the Governor's office and the state legislature as well as other systems advocates statewide. We participate in numerous statewide committees in order to provide a consistent voice for child care businesses. ECEA maintains a bold stance in support of issues that directly impact the child care industry. ECEA of Colorado represents child care businesses in over 15 ongoing collaborative stakeholder meetings statewide on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Kim comes to ECEA with an extensive background as an Early Childhood Teacher who promoted to become the Director of a child care center in a rural part of Colorado. She has a strong desire to support Directors in their challenging leadership role and has extensive experience to support you with!

Kim trains people in our Infant/Toddler Orientation and EQIT. Your staff will love her!
Peggy comes to ECEA with an extensive background as an Early Childhood Teacher who promoted to become the Director of a child care center at Fort Lewis College. She has a passion for serving people and works proactively to help program Owners and Directors with any issues that they are working on in their programs.

Peggy also hosts the ECEA Directors Roundtable and makes it a welcome space for Directors to discuss their concerns. She is an amazing part of ECEA and we can't wait for you to meet her!
Lobbyist
Sandra Solin of Capitol Solutions, Inc is the Lobbyist for ECEA of Colorado. Sandra ensures that ECEA is a powerful voice with the Colorado legislature. Every year over 600 pieces of legislation are reviewed to evaluate the impact on your business.

ECEA provides regular legislative updates to it's membership and gathers data on a regular basis. This makes it possible for ECEA to accurately represent the legislative and administrative needs of your program.

Your contribution to Colorado Political Giving supports the Colorado Child Care Association PC. ECEA's PC gives bipartisan contributions to support state legislators who help advance child care businesses in Colorado. Any funds contributed in a calendar year will be directed to the PC, up to the giving limit of $625 per election cycle. Current cycle is:
