Time and time again, local and state officials have asked citizens to relinquish their taxes so that the state and localities can expand to provide additional services. These legislators don't want to just keep the over collected taxes that you pay each year....they want to raise your tax rates any time they want! Colorado can more rapidly go the way of California very quickly under this model.
