CDEC, Unlike Other Departments per a JBC discussion this year, Has a .8 Funded Legal Assistant II position that supports Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) requests. Still requires citizens to pay the $41.37/hour fee for information.

----------------------------------------

ECEA MEMBERS: ECEA will now be paying CORA fees to access critical information to support your program. It's just another way your membership fees make a difference in Colorado's Child Care Industry.

As we utilize CORA data we will include in the summary the CORA fees that were assessed, outlining how long it took to retrieve the information.

Enrollment in online schools reached a peak during the pandemic. Wondering where those numbers are now? According to new data from the Digital Learning Collaborative, the average annual growth rate in online learning is slightly higher than historical growth rates (14.7% over the past four years). In addition, 40 states now offer full-time online school options, which is an increase from the previous year!
